PART 01

During daily visits, we encounter almost two-thirds of pet owners who do not use insect repellents on their pets on time and correctly. Some friends do not understand that pets still need insect repellents, but many actually take chances and believe that the dog is near them, so there will be no parasites. This idea is more common among cat owners.

In previous articles, we have repeatedly mentioned that pets who do not leave home are also likely to become infected with parasites. If you can detect ectoparasites through your eyes, you will definitely not be able to detect them in a timely manner. The best choice is definitely to use the correct brand and model of insect repellents on time, whether it’s a cat or a dog, whether you’re going out or not, because even different brands of insect repellents from the same company have significant differences in use and effectiveness.

“For cats and dogs who go out, they must use extracorporeal insect repellents on a regular basis every month. As long as the temperature is appropriate, extracorporeal parasites are almost everywhere. On grass, trees, cats and dogs playing together, and even mosquitoes flying in the air, parasites that infect cats and dogs may be hidden. As long as they are contacted, even if they just pass by, parasites may jump onto them.”.

PART 02

For cats and dogs that do not go out, it is also important to undergo several complete external insemination and subsequent internal insemination within three months of entering the home. Pet owners cannot guarantee whether there are insects in the living environment of their pet before they buy it. Some parasites are even inherited through the mother, so it is necessary to have the most comprehensive in vitro and in vivo insect repellency in the first month after arriving home, which is often limited by weight and age. All insect repellents are poisons with strict weight and age requirements. For example, Baichongqing requires a minimum weight of 2 kilograms for dogs and 1 kilogram for cats; Cat Ewok weighs at least 1 kg and is older than 9 weeks; A pet cat needs to be at least 8 weeks old; Dog worship requires that she be at least 7 weeks old;

It is these safety restrictions that make it very difficult to completely ensure health with one insecticide treatment. Let’s take a look at the example of a cat that our friend met this month. Cat age: 6 months. After one month of birth, my former pet owner picked me up and didn’t want to keep me for four months. Later, my current pet owner kindly adopted me. After taking me home in February, I didn’t know whether my former pet owner had been treated with worms on time, and I didn’t know my age, my body was thin, and my weight was very light. I thought it might be only three months old. Therefore, in order to be safe, I chose Aiwoke internal and external integrated insect repellent for cats. The main purpose of use is to target possible heart worm larvae, microfilaria Fleas and lice in vitro, intestinal parasites in vivo. It is characterized by safety, internal and external integration to repel insects, but its effect on the body is slightly weaker. It needs to be used once a month, and it may take a long time to kill insects in the body in many cases.

One month after using the drug, I thought it should be relatively safe. However, one night, I suddenly found a cat pulling out worms. Not only were there eggs in the stool, but also small white worms crawling out of the anus. Even places such as the cat climbing rack have white eggs, with a white body of 1cm long and a very large number. It was preliminarily determined that the worm is a type of pinworm nematode. According to the principle, Aiwoke should be able to kill. Considering that it has been one month since the last use, then using another Aiwoke will generally take effect within 48 hours. After 2 days, although there was a slight decrease in adult worm eggs, there were still live and dead worms. Therefore, it was decided to use a special internal insect repellent Baichongqing additionally. After 24 hours of using Baichongqing, no live worms or worm eggs were seen to be discharged. This fully demonstrates the difference between targeted insect repellents and comprehensive protective insect repellents.

It can be seen that different insect repellents have different treatment priorities, some tend to be comprehensive defense, and some are targeted at key treatment. The specific type of insect repellent used depends on the living environment and threats faced by your pet. All pet owners must understand the living environment of their pets and master the instructions for medication. Don’t just say that they have used insect repellents in pet shops or hospitals to feel safe.
