What is heat stress?
Heat stress is a series of abnormal reactions that occur in chickens under high temperature conditions due to thermoregulation and physiology.

What is the harmfulness of Heat stress to poultry?
Layer:
1. The feed intake is reduced, the metabolism is lower, the egg laying rate and egg quality are affected.
2. Lead to physiology disorders of laying hens. Because the chicken does not have sweat glands, can not dissipate heat through sweating, can only maintain normal body temperature through respiratory evaporation.
3. The respiratory rate is accelerated, so that the CO2 emission increases, resulting in excessive loss of CO2 content in the body, then lead to respiratory alkalosis.
4. The amount of chicken drinking water increased, causing diarrhea and electrolyte imbalance in chicken.
5. Lead to immune function to reduce the increase of glucocorticoid secretion in the body during stress, resulting in a decrease in immune function.
Broiler:
1. The breathing rate is accelerated, the hair is scattered, and most broilers appear “hair mania”, which leads to a significant increase in the “die chicken rate”.
2. Cause feathers development incomplete, no hair on both sides.
3. Reduce activities, increase water drinking, loss of appetite, discharge of wet feces, and sometimes even discharge “feed feces”.
4. Inhibit cellular immunity and humoral immunity, resulting in weakened resistance, which is easy to infect of diseases.
5. Cause the digestive tract creep slower, feed stay longer time in the tract, and enzyme activity in the digestive tract become week, destroy the micro-ecological environment, seriously damage the integrity of the intestinal mucosa, resulting in a significant decline in digestibility.
6. The occurrence of heat stress in broilers will result in a 14% to 17% reduction in feed intake and a significant decrease in average weight gain.

Main Features of this product
1. Dispel Dampness-heat
The extract of perilla leaf contained in this product is rich in plant polyphenols and flavonoids, has the functions of dispeling dampness, clearing heat and detoxicating.
2. Anti heat-stress
VC, peppermint and borneol have the effects of clearing heat and detoxicating, cooling blood and stopping diarrhoea, relieving and eliminating summer heat, and also enhancing the tolerance to heat stress, increasing feed intake, increasing egg laying rate, enhancing resistance, and accelerating the recovery from diseases.
3. Dispel wind-evil
Perilla leaves have the effect of releasing muscles, dispelling cold and wind-evil.
4. Anti-oxidation
Perilla leaves extract has certain ability to eliminate active oxygen free radicals and inhibit lipid peroxidation, and plays an important role in robusting livestock and poultry.
5. Antibacterial
Perilla seed has a strong antibacterial effect and has a good inhibitory effect on various pathogenic bacteria.

Indications

Dosage
