Terbinafine hydrochloride is an allylamine-class drug with broad-spectrum antifungal activity. It specifically interferes with the early biosynthesis of fungal sterols, highly selectively inhibits fungal squalene epoxidase, blocks the squalene epoxidation reaction during the formation of the fungal cell membrane, and thus achieves the effect of killing or inhibiting fungi.
Used for the treatment of canine skin infections caused by Microsporum canis.
Calculated based on terbinafine hydrochloride. Oral administration: 10 mg per 1 kg body weight of dogs, once daily, for 14 to 28 consecutive days.
